Our team attended the first audit in 2021 semester 2 together with our client Deon and Johannes.
We are using the Project Client Map proposed by Dr Priscilla during the workshop.
We keep track of project status on this page.
During week 9, we have implemented most of the website functions and drawn the first version of relational schema.
During week 7, we are getting out hands on website coding.
Semester 1 updated
The website will be used for customers to submit their order and track order status, in addition, the website should send the submitted order to the manager, and the matched database should provide the information about the order status in order to provide a tracking function.
Our project comprises two inseparable parts: database and website. For the database branch, it is essential to implement the following functions:
- Protect customer privacy from leaking out
- Integrate the whole data related to the ordering procedures into the database for management and analysis Store client order specifications, metrology, and operational information Track costs and usages of materials and services Support documentation for future modifications
During week 5, we have more in-depth conversations with our client on working out different layouts for our order flowchart on the website.
Just for fun.
Here’s to everyone working hard at this project! Hooray!!
Real life is about reacting quickly to the opportunity at hand, not the opportunity you envisioned. Not thinking and scheming for the future, but letting it happen.
